We are a group of women who care about connecting with our community. Soroptimist connects women: to each other, to the local communities in Greater Hamilton, and to the world.
Our club is called Soroptimist of Dundas Ancaster Flamborough (SI DAF) and was founded in 1987. We are a group of women who are passionate about improving the lives of women and girls through education opportunities.
No travel home after a late committee meeting.
Even before online meetings were a thing, we met once a month online via Teams – normally on the first Thursday of each month from 7-8:30pm from September to June each year. Our meetings have an agenda – what’s happening across Soroptimist as an organization, and planning for our awards, upcoming fundraisers and events.
We also get together periodically to enjoy a meal and catch up in person . We’re flexible about when and where we meet to accommodate our members.
